In principle, temporary workers have the same rights as other employees. The collective labour agreements for temporary workers also regulate minimum conditions for temporary workers, which may not be undercut. Together with the statutory provisions of general labour law and the provisions of the Temporary Employment Act, the collective minimum standards offer temporary workers a high level of protection.
The key points of the collective agreements are
  • The regulation of all essential working conditions, such as working hours, remuneration, holidays, special annual payments and bonuses.
  • A nine-tier pay system, which is supplemented by experience and industry bonuses under certain conditions.
